These people who give so generously of their time are truly Christ's hands
and feet. They make Sister BJ's Pantry a place where many homeless may come
and find peace and love.

Making a Difference
A woman was walking along a
beach filled with starfish.
As she walked, she would
stoop down, pick one up at random, and throw it back into the ocean. A man
came upon her and asked why she was bothering with throwing some back when
there were so many - how could it possibly make a difference?
She
picked up another starfish, threw it back into the ocean, and said, "It made
a difference to that one." |

Prayer from St.
Teresa of Avila
Christ has no body now but yours.
No hands, no feet on earth, but yours.
Yours are the eyes through which He moves
Compassion on this world.
Yours are the feet with which He walks
To do good.
Yours are the hands
With which He blesses all the world.
Yours are the hands, yours are the feet.
Yours are the eyes; you are His body.
Christ has no body now but yours.
No hands, no feet on earth, but yours.
Yours are the eyes through which He moves
Compassion on this world.
Christ has no body now on earth
But yours. |
